Cultivating the full potential of each individual through the pursuit of academic, spiritual, and personal excellence.
As an elementary school, one of our main goals is to provide the best education for ALL of our students. As teachers, we continually assess our students through discussions, projects, unit tests, and hands-on experiences. Schools also use summative assessments, such as the ISASP (Iowa Statewide Assessment of Student Progress) to help determine student learning outcomes.
We are pleased to share St. Francis Xavier’s ISASP results from the 2018-19 school year. The ISASP assessment has taken place of the Iowa Test of Basic Skills and is given once a year in the spring to 3rd-6th graders.
The above information shows how our students compare to other students in the state in regards to proficiency on the 2018-19 Iowa Statewide Assessment of Student Progress (ISASP).
If you have questions, please contact your child’s classroom teacher, Peter Smith, or Dede McDermott.
As always, thanks for supporting Catholic Education and St. Francis Xavier School,
